He is a full-professor (retired) of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto where is also an integrated researcher of the RG – Philosophy and Public Space of the Philosophy Institute. He was an invited professor at the University of Rouen (France), at the Portuguese Catholic University, at the University Eduardo Mondlane, at the Higher School of Education Paula Frassinetti, besides cooperating with the University of Paris 8. He is currently main coordinator professor, director and president of the Technical-Scientific Council at ISCET – Higher Institute of Business Sciences and Tourism. PhD in Philosophy by the University of Porto and in Tourism by the University of Girona has held several positions and important functions in the scope of his scientific activity, integrating several international scientific societies and as president of the Philosophy of Education Society of Portuguese Language. His book “Antropologia da Exclusão ou o Exílio da Condição Humana” is translated and edited in French and in Spanish.
